We have been dyeing yarns and fibers since 1985. We are well known for vibrant rich colorways and a range of yarns from classic, to hand dyed sequins,novelties, ribbons, cottons and rayons, to,cashmere, wool, alpaca, and silk.
We have recently expanded into other markets, adding hand dyed trims, ribbons, embellishments,velvet and cotton fabrics, and most recently, arashi shibori.
This unique blend of different markets, brings many fibers to to people the world over.
I purchase my silk fabric, velvets and scarves from Dharma, and not only is the quality great, so is customer service. It is always nice to hear a friendly knowledgeable voice on the phone, willing to help.
Great Adirondack is located in a small town in upstate NY, on a 34 acre farm.
The dye shop looks out over the horse pasture, and is surrounded by trees, and flower gardens. In the summer, the cats and dogs will often wander in and out to see whats up.
