I’m Rachael from Wisconsin and I make tie dyed clothing and tapestries. I have almost all of Dharma’s fiber reactive dyes and use their jacquard deColourant color remover as well. I am inspired by the energy of animals and sights in nature. My favorite technique is to use liquid dying for a precise design and surround it by ice dying for flow and movement on the same piece. It took me several years of trial and error to achieve what I’m making today. I enjoy thinking of unique ideas I don’t see anywhere else and experimenting if I can achieve it.
