My first attempt at higher education was in a Crafts Management Program; weaving, pottery, photography and quilting. Life took me in various directions however, I always remained busy making practical things. Now that I have more time I focus on what I enjoy the most which is fiber arts. I work with fabrics, yarns, wood, clay and glass. I am an avid hiker, kayaker, mini-farm gardener with mini-ponies and even built a cordwood mini-house. I have been dyeing with Dharma for years and my socks are the biggest hit. Dharmas bamboo socks are soft, comfy, long lasting and affordable. They have been a big success among my circle of friends, family and local patrons. Almost everyone needs socks and colorful, tie-dyed, comfy bamboo socks add a splash of color that puts a smile on your face. I use Dharma Procion and Indigo dyes.
