"The Future of Tie-Dye. . ."

Tie-Dye doesn't begin and end with one generation, and it's not a fad. It's one of the oldest art forms on the planet, and it evolves and renews itself perpetually.

We combine modern American "hippie" styles with ancient African tie-dye and Japanese shibori techniques... not to mention a few tricks we've come up with on our own over the past nine years. We are dedicated to the challenge of taking tie-dye to new levels, and continuing the evolution of this art form in the future.

We met in Austin, TX in 1993, and almost immediately started a family and a tie-dye business. Today we have 4 kids: Isis, 8; Osha, 6; Jaibo, 4; and Ace, 2. We live in a remote part of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in northern New Mexico, because we want to raise our kids away from big cities.

Dharma Trading Co. has supplied us with our Procion dye and other materials right from the start; their superb customer service has come through for us many times when we were out on the road and needed dye the next day!
