I'm Rox Driver, I'm an independent yarn dyer from the UK. My company name is Lollipop Guild Yarns. You can find me on Etsy; www.lollipopguildyarns.etsy.com.
I started dyeing almost 2 years ago, and taught myself using YouTube videos and internet research.
I'm not sure what my style is, but I love high contrast, bright colors coupled with darker tones. I am definitely not know for earthy/autumnal colors.
I used to have a real aversion to pinks and oranges, but since dyeing I have grown to love them. I even love neon, which I used to hate!
I've a lot of inspiration from pop culture; some TV, particularly from the 80s! (My most popular yarn to date was She-Ra), movies, kids books, etc.
I use mainly (almost exclusively) Dharma acid dye and fibre reactive dye. I've found them to be the highest quality, and although I have to ship them to the UK, it's definitely worth it. My most used colors at the moment are Electric Melon, Mermaid Dream, True Black and Fluorescent Fuchsia.
