Sally Telfer
Hi, my name is Sally Telfer, and I live on a small farm in the south of Australia. Apart from a husband and four children, creating things has been a passion during all of my life. I have eclectic interests, including silk painting. The lustrous colours and gorgeous feel of the fabric are inspirational. I do two main types of work with silk: hand dyeing and hand painting. I have recently been using Dye-na-flow for hand painting and a mixture of the Dye-na-flow and procion dyes for my dyed scarves. I am happy with the way they are working. At the moment, I do a lot of scarf painting with the Habotai scarves and hand dyeing with the silk chiffon. Both are a joy to work with.
