Sivan Black-Rotchin
My name is Sivan Black-Rotchin, and I am a 20 year old student living in Montreal. I collect cool vinyl or leather items (shoes, gloves, jackets, hats, wallets, bags, guitar straps...you name it!) and then give them a psychedelic paint job using Angelus Leather Paints, Leather Preparer and Acrylic Finisher. I like to use vibrant colours and nature-themed motifs. I am inspired by many things: Expressionism, Impressionism, Fauvism, beautiful sights and experiences...to be honest, I'm sure half the things I'm inspired by I'm not even conscious of. I love the notion of creating something beautiful but also functional and wearable. At the moment, I feel as though I am finding my footing in the global community of artists, and it is all very exciting! I hope you enjoy my work.
