Hi! my name is Veronica, and I live in the nice city of Upland, California. I'm very glad to be part of the featured artists on the Dharma Trading page, I really think you have wonderful products.

I'm a self-taught learning kind of person. I started painting around 10 years ago with different materials and techniques, however I only worked on no more than two paintings on silk a year, which is nothing!... But around two years ago, I started creating lots of silk scarves and paintings, and now my principal objective is to decorate using silk painting. I'm an interior designer and I love to help my clients, advising them with art ideas. I also participate in art shows and exhibitions with my artwork.

I really love what I do, and I would never stop mixing colors, creating, and looking for new challenges to come up with, and new ideas to paint. These ideas and images come up in my dreams, after I read a book, or simply by means of any situation or place that inspires or captivates me.

I use Dharma pigment dyes to paint, as they are very easy to use. I can mix them the way I need, and the colors are very intense. I normally buy Habotai Silk, since it is really high quality. I stop the spreading of paint on silk utilizing Dharma Water Resistant materials. To stretch my silk, I use wood frames that I buy at a local store, and for larger artwork, I use long sticks that I attach together and adapt to the size I need.
