I recently learned how to dye my handwoven textiles at a Shibori workshop using Dharma Fiber Reactive dyes. After that, I was hooked! I dye all of my own yarn for weaving now. The colors are so rich and vibrant; even the pastel colors have such a pure quality. To get inspiration for my projects, I dyed several sample scarfs using most of the colors I have, so I will know exactly how they will turn out, leaving out the guess work. I have them hanging all around my studio.
The pictures I sent are of a scarf I wove using 10/2 Tencel. The draft came from Handwoven Magazine. I dyed all the tencel before weaving. I have also ordered the batik kit and the marbling kit. I love your products and appreciate your excellent customer service.
