Vito Racanelli

Vito Racanelli is an Italian-American artist based out of Monument, Colorado. Vito was raised just outside of Chicago, Illinois, in a family which cherishes the arts. He learned batik from his friends and mentors, Jonathan and Beth Evans, two masters who reside in La Veta, Colorado. Vito is inspired by natural beauty, human emotion, and nostalgia. Vito's goal with every piece is to bring happiness to the viewer. He views batik as a lovely form of passive meditation. Vito is dedicated to improving his technique and broadening his parameters. His plan is to improve and build an inventory over the next few years before someday opening a gallery. He hopes that you enjoy his work.
