I am a batik artist in Saint Augustine, Florida. I learned the art of painting with wax and cold water dyes on fabric while attending school at Instituto Allende in San Miguel, Mexico. I have a studio/gallery here in Saint Augustine and am so happy to have found Dharma Trading Company!
I love the Procion dyes and use them in all of my work. I use the 100% organic cotton muslin for the framed paintings, pillows, and table throws that I make. I am also crazy about the doggie bandanas and always have orders for the personalized "good luck bandanas" that I make with them. Another favorite are the rayon scarves and sarongs, but my all time favorite is the hand woven rayon fringed scarf. As my customers say...." It's like butta!"..
