Mickey has a very pleasant engaging and reassuring style of teaching. I think this is a good DVD for a beginner fabric painter and despite having a fair amount of experience myself with fabric surface design I learned a lot and found the DVD class to be a great introduction to Seta paints.

I've read Mickey Lawler's book by the same title but my early painting efforts left me wondering what I was doing wrong. Watching her mix paints dampen fabric and apply paint to fabric was empowering for me. My more recent efforts have proved to be far more successful.

This is an excellent well produced dvd.  I am new at trying to paint landscape fabric.  I have learned a lot just by watching the dvd.  It's just like attending an actual class.

All around great video. Mickey Lawler paints beautiful artwork and is so knowledgeable. I do hand painted fibers and yarns and love how versatile this will be for me also. I would certainly recommend it for anyone doing any color work.
