the are kid size and they are poorly constructed with the inner band becomes tattered upon processing. I will only use these for kids and will have to use a Tide Wash Bag to pre-wash AND rinse out. Dharma needs a true adult sized hat about twice the size of this hat. I am still having them made in Centerville TN for over $13piece.

I have tie-dyed and sold hundreds of these hats. Yes the original size is small but if you keep them out of the dryer and instead let them air dry on a hat stretcher they fit most teens and women. They are great for tie-dyeing because you can actually fold the brim.The new larger size is bigger but I can't use them because the brim is too stiff to fold and the crown is a very thin fabric so the dye tends to run everywhere. It would be great if Dharma had the larger size made of the same materials as the smaller size.

I am a size 7 58 and the new hats (#ABH2) fit although I suspect that's about the limit. The crown is only 3" so they take on a dome profile on me. They take dye well except for the stitches. There's small vent holes that are hard to see in the photos but pop when dyed. The fabric is light but the brim is substantial enough to stay if you flip it up. A comfortable summer hat.

Unfortunately like everyone else said they run very small. I only bought the size large and pretty much everyone that has tried them on says I guess I have a big head. Dharma please make a bigger size! The hats are nice otherwise.

I dyed a bunch of these for a family vacation in Cancun. They fit well on all the adults! They held up well in the pool and I ended up taking orders from people at the pool! Love these!

The hat body is 3" height. If it shrinks it will be lower. I'm going to sew ties on mine to keep it fixed on my head better. It's not staying put. I'd like it to have more height.

Took dye great! Read that they shrink so I just washed and air dried. I made 9 for my teenager and her friends for a school walk-a-thon. The kids loved them and they were so easy to spot in the crowds and the pictures. I even got a video from 2 of the kids telling me how much they loved them
