Silk Gift Bags

These silk gift bags are very popular for favors but they can be pricey and are often made out of synthetics instead of natural materials. Now you can dye your own to match your wedding colors and fill with your preferred filler.

What you need:

Silk Bags:

Acid Dyes:
#DAD - 441 - Peach Blush & 442 - Bright Aqua
Note: For this project we doubled the amount of Acid Dye we normally call for to 3% OWG to get deeper shades.

Filler Ideas:
His and Her favorite Jelly beans, Traditonal Almonds, Bird Seed for throwing after the ceremony, Wrapped chocolates, Flower Petals for throwing, a cute signature toy/ornament, Cracker Jack style rings

What you need:

You will need a Hot Fix Applicator for both barrettes

Blank Oval Barrette
A pack of 4mm Swarovski Hotfix Crystal AB or Crystal
#SG45 - 1 Yard

4mm Swarovski Crystals: Peach, Erinite and Crystal AB (we used two packs of each color and the left over AB crystals, if you want to cover the barrettes you will need about 8 packs)

Iron On Transfer Puzzle

This is a unique and easy favor to make, for the couple that loves puzzles or just want to do something a little different. All you need is a cute picture of the two of you, print it, trim it and iron it, it is that easy. You can put the puzzle in a nice envelop or break it up and put it in a silk bag, let your guests put it together for a surprise.
