The fabric is nice but the fit is really awkward. I wish these were patterned after the dance leggings - I love those and they fit perfectly. Even better would be if they were made of the 100 gsm plain jersey. I want silk leggings very badly but these are sufficiently flawed that I'd rather try to find some reasonably priced silk jersey and make my own.

I got these and the matching top the top was unraveling upon arrival these were intact. They mentioned an extra tight waistband and how it had been fixed...I don't fancy myself fantastically slender but I do have enough experience in clothing to know that my true waist is almost always smaller than the size that applies to the rest of me. So when I pulled these on and they fit comfortably all except for a weirdly thick tight waistband - I was surprised. I think the company should have used a different type of elastic. This is not the type I'd put in lightweight silk clothing made for layering.

Love the silk - Hate the waistband. Still too tight. I only bought one to try it out thankfully. If it came with a drawstring instead I'd buy a dozen!

The waist is not too tight for me - my waist measurement is 2 inches larger than the "relaxed" measurement. Legs are a bit longer than mine but I'm pretty short.

i agree that the elastic is too tight at the waist. the good news is that there's enough room to cut off the existing waistband and make a casing for a lenght of better fitting elastic.

I live in my silk leggings in the winter. Thin enough to go under heavy cotton leggings with a skirt or under jeans. These are a life saver when traveling to extend the usefulness of a minimal wardrobe for cooler weather.

I have lived in the mountains of Idaho for ten years (and the cold of Idaho winters for 70). It's great to walk to a neighbor's house in the warmth of these and not get hot sitting inside.

I know other reviewers from previous years complained about how tight the waistband was and I want to let everyone know that it is no longer a problem! They heard you and fixed it! I'm 5' and 175 lbs (yep quite overweight!) and had no problem with the expansion of the waistband. Yes the waist is really high when you're short and the legs are really long but even then it did not cause a problem when worn under jeans for a recent trip to a much colder climate. We were very pleased (I bought another pair for my daughter) with the fit and warmth. I would highly recommend these!

My husband and I love these but as many others have commented waistbands are too too small. Had to change our elastics also. NO fun ! An Increase of at least 2 inches per size would be much better.
