Dear Dharma,

I started tie-dyeing over 15 yeas ago, and have been using your products since the beginning!

My experience and training as a graphic artist has always inclined me toward developing my own personal style. I love the look of both batik and mandala, and spent many hours developing and perfecting the intricate folding technique that I use to create unique mandalas on my clothing and tapestries.

Each item takes hours to fold and paint (I use sponge tip brushes to control the flow of the dye), not to mention unfolding and rinsing! I use waxed dental floss for the resist effect, which is probably one of the only non-Dharma items on my supply list.

I use the viscose challis rayon for my tapestries, as well as silk and rayon scarves, Procion Fiber Reactive dyes, urea, soda ash, sodium alginate, and Synthrapol to make it all happen. Over the years I have acquired most of my storage supplies: gallon jugs, 16 oz squirt bottles, sponge tip brushes, T-shirts, and clothing blanks in cotton, rayon, and silk from Dharma Trading.

The huge selection and quality of products you have available is the best I have seen all in one place -- the catalog is always fun to look through, and the website makes it super easy to order. Not to mention the friendly, helpful people who take orders and answer questions.

I would love to be included on your featured artist page. I am submitting a selection of jpg images of my artwork. I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks Dharma!
