Cody Dues

My name is Cody Dues and for the most part I use Dharma's quality products to make tie dye. I still consider myself a novice at my craft, so I try new things often.
My inspiration comes from every direction around whether it be a surprising color harmony, or new pattern altogether. It's like magic, what creating something can make you feel, even if sometimes it's a total fluke.
I use a variety of Dharma's chemicals for tie dye, including, but not limited to, Soda Ash, Sodium Alginate, Urea, Dharma's Professional Textile Detergent, Calsolene Oil, along with of course a pandering assortment of Dharma's Fiber Reactive Dyes across the spectrum and Raven Black.
I didn't always use Dharma's products, mostly because I didn't know about them. I learned many the do's and don'ts of dyeing the hard way before I stumbled upon the vast information bank here on their website.
I've used everything to dye, from whatever I could get my hands on at the supermarket, to old red wine in the back of my cupboard. Now that I've started using Dharma's products, I'll likely never switch.
