My son, Whit, is the inspiration for my company, KnitWhits. I started it in the Summer of 2008 after the response I received when he wore his tie dyed t-shirts. I made these t-shirts at our summer camp, Camp Bratton Green. I am a stay at home mom and I thought that making tie dyed clothing for babies and children would be a fun and profitable business venture! My husband and I have enjoyed going to many festivals and local markets to sell our clothing but I also have sales through my blog, www.knitwhitsclothing.blogspot.com. I use Dharma's Fiber Reactive Procion dyes along with the soda ash, urea and textile detergent. I love the wide variety of items available through Dharma, especially for girls. This season, the double lettuce edge items and princess dresses have been VERY popular!! I use lots of bright colors and I also do custom orders...favorite colors, school colors, etc.! I included one photo of my son, Whit, wearing his long sleeve t-shirt. Thanks for taking the time to read my entry! And thanks for offering such great products!
