Michelle De La Portilla

My name is Michelle De La Portilla, and I live in Nampa, Idaho. The first time I ever tried tie-dying anything, I was 13 years old and actually dyed in English class, taught by Charlotte Zaugg whom, I might add, does not own 1 piece of white clothing! Twelve years later, I decided I wanted to eat, sleep, and breathe tie-dye. After visiting a few flea markets and talking to a few people along the way, I was given the Dharma website, and boy was I glad I did! I grabbed a good friend Jane Hettick and we decided we wanted to be the main source of tie-dye in southwest Idaho. We've started slow due to regular life responsibilities, but I couldn't be happier with our results and neither could our friends and customers. We use Procion dyes and buy all of our supplies from Dharma Trading, and here are some of them: urea , soda ash , synthrapol -- just the basics, but we are proud to be doing business with Dharma Trading and couldn't ask for a friendlier, more informative company to deal with, and the deals are great! We truly appreciate you guys and everyone will definitely be seeing more of us!
