Crepe De Chine 16mm

The Mercedes of silks, a luxurious silk with a slightly crinkled "crepe" texture and a gentle, graceful drape, plus a very soft hand. Has a smooth surface that lends itself well to all types of painting styles. For those of you who want the incredible feel of silk next to your skin, but don't like it's super shiny, showier cousins, Satin and Charmeuse, this fabric is perfect with its subtle sheen and lovely texture. Ideal weight for all types of clothing and decorating.

Fabric Details

• 100% Crepe de Chine Silk
• 16mm, 45" and 55" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes.
• We found that this shrinks 13% in Length and 8% in Width: Disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage (bulk discounts levels at 10+ yds.) and 55 yard bolts in the 55" and 56 yard bolts in the 45"
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.
