Silk Twill 12mm

Combines the utilitarian strength of the twill weave with the natural strength of silk! A fabric with an obvious weave but still maintaining a smooth texture that is easy to dye and paint. It is a nice weight, with a wonderful drape, great luster and excellent durability for the weight of the fabric. Ideal for more tailored styled garments like tailored blouses, pants and lined lighter weight jackets.

Fabric Details

• 100% Twill Silk
• 12mm, 45" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes or any other silk dye
• We found that this shrinks 6% in Length and 3% in Width
• Available in cut yardage and in 51 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.
