What’s not easy to find? A salt that dissolves instantly! This ultra-fine powdered salt, similar to powdered sugar, dissolves almost instantly in your dye bath with minimal stirring. No more waiting for salt to break down!

We’ve offered this powdered salt for a while, and dyers love it. It’s a game-changer for dissolving quickly and evenly, saving time and hassle. Available in 5 lb. bags and 25 lb. boxes, a 5 lb. bag holds about 9 cups. While it costs more than regular salt, the convenience makes it well worth it.

Measuring Tips

Since this salt is finer, it’s denser than most others. For accuracy, weigh a cup of your usual dyeing salt, then weigh out the same amount of our powdered salt and compare the volume. Adjust accordingly to make it go further!

Ingredients

Non-iodized micro-sized 66 mesh fine salt (NaCl) plus Tricalcium Phosphate (anti-caking agent).

Storage Tip: Moisture can cause clumping. If it cakes, just break it up—it’ll still dissolve quickly!
