Gaia Bulky is certified organic, which means it nurtures the animal from which it comes. It's a 4 ply merino, chunky or light bulky weight, and ideal for soft, hand washable garments. Felts easily, too. 

• 100% fine organic merino wool

Organic, you say? GOTS, or Global Organic Textile Standard, is a certification organization. What it means to be GOTS certified is that a product meets that organization's standards for how the fiber is grown, cultivated, processed and dyed. GAIA Yarns are GOTS certified. That is, the fiber is organic and the mill that the yarn is spun in also meets Organic standards.
