Artist Bio / Statement

My name is Toni King, and I am an award winning artist specializing in batiks, scratchboards, charcoal & collage. I've been doing batiks for nearly 20 years and always use Dharma Trading's Fiber Reactive dyes for the best color with a minimum of fading. I buy the pre-mixed Batik wax, but sometimes may add beeswax for less crackling if I'm doing an extremely intricate design. I turn my batiks into everything, from wall hangings, to dream pillows stuffed with herbs, to covers for journals made with my handmade paper. I'm presently experimenting the batik process on my handmade paper for a whole new watercolor effect. Not one to waste anything, I use my leftover dyes on the blank t-shirts, dresses, and other dyeables that Dharma Trading Co. has such a wide variety of.

About Tiered Discount Levels

You can combine cotton and rayon clothing & accessories to get the greatest discounts. Your discount is figured on the total number of cotton and rayon items we ship, not how many of each type, style or size. Mix and match them to get the best discount.

Example: adding 4 each of 3 different T-shirts in any sizes will give you the 12+ price on all 12 shirts.
