I've been tie-dyeing for about 5 years with Procion dyes, and decided to try Sun Painting for my summer season. I started with the small tutorial on the Dharma website and experimented from there. I am using Setacolor Transparent paints, diluted 1-part paint to 3-parts water. I use all sorts of objects on the wetly painted shirt - leaves, flowers, paper, keys, really anything that has an interesting shape! The only limit is that I have to wait for a sunny day.
