My name is Ashley Plante and I tye dye anything and all the things! I’ve been tye dying as a hobby since I was a child, within the last two years I’ve started making it to sell. I also teach people to tye dye at local community events and parties as well as with the children I work with at my preschool.

I’m inspired by nature, being outside seeing patterns and colors all around makes me want to create. I spent a ton of time at the beach and in the woods, from these spectacular places I come up with colors schemes and new ideas to try out. I’m also inspired by people’s eagerness to learn and helping them with that.

I use the Dharma procion dyes, soda ash and blanks. I always enjoy my interactions with employees at Dharma!

I never saw myself making and selling tye dye, but here I am doing it! We are all capable of great things, first we must try! It’s an incredible feeling when someone wants to buy a pice of my art. I’ve had fails and sold them, there will always be someone who appreciates the work you put in and final product. Keep on experimenting!
