Hi! My name is Tie-Dye Deb. I live and tie-dye in Benicia, California. I started my tie-dye business in September of 2000. I found Dharma Trading online when I started my business, and have been purchasing from them ever since. I have a website, do parties, and sell at festivals. I use Dharma's fiber reactive procion dyes along with soda ash, urea, glauber's salt, sodium alginate, water softener and Dharma's professional textile detergent. A special thank you to Martine and Tom for their DVDs, TieDye 101 and Advanced Tie Dye Techniques: Shapes and Mandalas to help me get to the next level of tie-dyeing. Dharma also has a great variety of clothing blanks. I tie-dye t-shirts, onesies, rompers, lettuce edge and velour tops and bottoms, leggings, dresses, hoodies, socks, and the ever important undies. Dharma Trading rocks!

I love creating new tie-dye color combinations and designs. I enjoy seeing my tie-dye on someone at the grocery store or even at my son's school. It just doesn't get much better than that. I participate in art during the day at the local elementary schools. The kids get to make a tie-dye shirt all by themselves. I encourage them to wear their tie-dye shirts on Friday. I believe that every Friday is tie-dye Friday. I'm working on a plan to get the whole town of Benicia to wear tie-dye every Friday. Maybe it should be a world vision.
