A twill weave cotton fabric that is soft but tough as nails. Bull Denim is durable and heavy, takes dye well with very good results. Not stiff like canvas.

The only reason I give this a mere 4 stars is that I'd be happier if it was 14 oz denim. Otherwise this is fabulous. I've used it for slipcovers pants even my most recent project - beanbags. It washes beautifully dyes nicely holds the dye well... a very nice fabric and even nicer for the price.

I got the natural denim to make slipcovers for some chairs. I made a slipcover for my sofa with a heavier natural denim previously. I prefer the heavier denim but am still very satisfied with the bull denim. It is great for slipcovers!

I bought this thinking that it was a good value for learning how to make slipcovers. Yuck. Not only was the fabric flawed with streaks of yellow (Dharma gave me 9 yards credit on the pieces that were unusable) but it was very off grain which required a struggle and two people to straighten. I did get three slipcovers and three ottomans covered so I used up the entire bolt and learned the technique but a better fabric would have been easier.Last week I saw an ad for a sale from Fabric.com and bought a bolt of Premier Print 100% cotton duck in a very pretty coral and a good weight for slipcovers. After washing and hanging outside (the one downside with this fabric is that it shouldn't be machine dried) I ended up with virtually no warping and no flaws. And they sent the precise yardage I requested. The sale is over (I saved $4 a yard) so keep a lookout since I paid $7 a yard PLUS FREE SHIPPING. Premier Prints has many many colors (some solids) and attractive prints. Check it out.

Very nice very strong fabric! And it launders well too. Thus far I'm really pleased with it.

It was a little lighter weight than I thought it was going to be - it seemed lighter weight than the unbleached bull denim. However it's working great in my project hand dyed silk screened aprons and hot pads - so I'm pleased as usual!

Basic to the point denim. Stiff and ready to absorb color. Not a lot of personality but knows what it has to do.
