Product Description

We were very excited when we found this comprehensive guide to mixing fiber reactive dyes. Think of this book as the ultimate dyer’s recipe book. Linda Johansen thoroughly explains the basics and then dives right into mixing several variations of the rainbow. From there she moves right in to creating gradations. Clear examples of each formula are detailed on every page. This book will be of particular interest to quilters who want to create their own one-of-a-kind fabrics. Filled with specific recipes for mixing over 900 custom colors, this may be the only book on color a dyer ever needs!

8.5" x 11", Soft Cover, Color Photos, 95 pages.

This is a excellent reference book but it would have been even better if the measurements had been given in metrics. Measuring out 8.5 cc is far easier than trying to measure out 1.75 teaspoons.

I suppose it would be good for a quilter but not for me. The description was misleading or I missed something in the description. I was looking for a shortcut for dye color recipes. This is limited in the scope of making colors for dying.
