Product Description

Gildan is a very popular shirt with tie dyers and screen printers. Made from 100% 6.1 oz. Compacted Cotton Jersey. Seamless double needle collars, taped neck and shoulders and double needle hems. Ultra tight knit surface for printing. Cotton thread sewing for better dyeing. A good quality shirt at a great price. Not pre-shrunk.

Important:  If you have been buying this shirt for years, Gildan has stopped bleaching and optically whitening it. New shipments are now an off-white color. (currently we have mixed stock) Fantastic for garment dyeing, not as desirable for tie-dye where white is a large part of the pattern. Can be lightened quite successfully with detergents that contain bleach and optic whiteners. We are begging them to bleach them again, but don't know if we will have any success. Perfect shirt for tiedye- good opacity, solid weight holds a fold well, shrinkage is almost non-existent, and shirts dyed two years ago still look better than some store-bought regular shirts.
