Product Description
Great for stretching silk and other fabrics for painting, and they don't stain the fabric when wet because the pin part is stainless steel. The handles are sturdy but light weight aluminum. They actually have many more uses than stretching fabric. Way stronger than the plastic ones you get at the store. My "useful stuff" (junk) drawer would be naked without 'em!

These pins are great, I use them to pin my quilts. The pins are extra sharp and nice and long for projects. Dharma Trading is a great company to order from.

Work fine for stretching silk--they are tougher than normal office-supply pushpins so they go into the wood stretcher frame more easily. Sometimes one will snap off or the tip is not pointed-sharp, but I guess that's to be expected in a box of 100 anything.

Sharp as tacks, and they wipe clean after holding silk to the frame. On the other hand, big tacks make big holes in the fabric. YMMV.

I would prefer the three point flat head pins, but can't find them in stainless steel.
