Tie Dyeing is fun.

It's also easy, inexpensive and almost always gives satisfying results.Children love it! Beyond that, tie-dyeing can also be educational. To help, we have created two lesson plans which you can use to increase the educational value of a class tie dye project.

The first, "Working with Color" is intended for ages 5 - 10 years and covers the basics of color theory.

The second, "Color and Dye Chemistry" is intended for ages 11 years and up and covers the science behind color and dyes.
