Product Description
Here's a well made and functional shoulder bag we are having made in flat woven cotton and sewn with cotton thread. It measures 17" across and 15" tall with a 3" wide double layer strap. Has 6" x 7" pockets inside and outside with velcro closures.
The bag is actually reversible - can be worn inside out as well. Provides a great surface for stamping & painting. Will dye perfectly and can also be tie-dyed.
Made in: INDONESIA (ID)

I took this bag apart shibori dyed it put panels on the outside that were dyed using african dyeing techniques with images discharged batiked and apilqued on them. Machine embroderied then reassembled the bag. It came out beautiful and is now on dsisplay with the faculty work in the STARS (Seniors Textile Arts Renaissance Society) work at in washingtion DC. All of our participants used Dharma materials to execute their works with great satisfaction.

Got these to dye and give as gifts - they were very well recieved! The size is perfect not too big not too small. The over-the-shoulder strap is so easy to wear and feels comfortable on. Lightweight too. I will be bringing a couple on my next trip to Paris!! :)

Just wish it had a thing to hold the two parts together like a Velcro deal or snap so nothing would fall out of purse.

perfect size (smaller than what it appears in the photo - at least on my 5'9" frame) takes dye well - it's become my favourite handbag :) I may put in a top closure at some point but otherwise it's perfect :)

These are great bags and good sellers. I wish they didn't cost so much. They take dyes beautifully. I tie dye or fabric paint them. Good sellers but the market for a cloth bag can't bear too much of a markup over Dharma's selling price. Too bad.

These are great and they dye wonderfully. The seams are single-stitch however and aren't the strongest.

This bag picked up the dye beautifully. I am going to have to order a few more as my daughter was very upset she didn't get one.
