Product Description

These are nice multipurpose "messenger style" bags. Made of natural colored PFD 100% cotton canvas and sewn with cotton thread for solid dyeing. The straps are a strong cotton webbing with reinforced stitching where they connect. The roomy inside pouch is separated by a cloth divider into two sections. The flap just begs for a transfer, silk screen, stencil or hand painted design. Use it for lots of things, books, a simple purse for the beach, laptop, whatever.

The Messenger Style Bags are 11" high by 12" wide with a 3.75" gusset width. The flap hangs down 6.75" at very front top edge of the bag when the bag is expanded (full of items).

The strap on the #MSBA is 1.5" wide and adjusts from 27.5" to 54" long (just right for wearing whichever way you please).

Keep in mind that all canvas items should be washed very gently, by hand if possible.

Made in: CHINA (CN)

I'm very happy with the addition of the messenger bag with the longer strap - now for the shorter strap bag to be back in stock so I can offer my customers a choice. I silk screen the front flap with my street car design - looks great and a big favorite at local(New Orleans) art markets.

Sturdy construction but hard to dye. I ironed out the wrinkles but the dye still did not 'take' evenly in the wrinkles and near the seams.

I use this bag to carry my laptop to meetingetc. I am I like the idea of it being a natural color but I was also thinking of painting a small design on the lap. We will see.The bag is constructed very well and the straps are sturdy enough to securely hold the weight of the laptop. I think it is a good purchase and suits my needs.

I bought this to bring as an unobtrusive carryall to historic re-enactment events. I sprayed it with tent waterproofer and now it is a perfect stain-proof waterproof bag to hold my camera my macbook air the power adapter etc. I also hand-stitched two pockets on the divider inside and they hold my wallet and cellphone safe and hidden and not likely to fall out right where I know where they are. It's much nicer than the expensive (and glaringly modern) laptop bag I used to use and so I've started using it in regular life too. Saved me a lot of worry in a downpour last weekend when I had my $1500 camera body and several $200 lenses with me-- I transferred them from my other messenger bag into this one and they were dry as anything the sweatshirt I shoved into the other bag wound up soaked. Phew!

I wish they had arrived less wrinkled. I screen printed on the flap and had to iron them first. Shoulder straps were nice length. They are a bit smaller than I expected

Amazing value! The strap was a little long for me (I'm 5'2) but I just knotted it and it was perfect.

A little tricky to dye as most canvas--we especially like the one with the longer strap that can be worn across the chest :-)

I love this bag. Great for painting on. It does wrinkle when washed so you will want to iron it after washing it.Now if the strap were just about another foot longer.
