Made for us in Bali. Hemmed on four edges (except the fringed version) with cotton thread to avoid a "saddle stitched" effect when dyed. Like all our rayon fabric, they take dyes exceptionally well.

The rayon takes color beautifully -- but make sure that you wash it a couple of times with Synthrapol after dyeing, because it likes to hang on to that loose dye.

I ordered 12 of these and was disappointed-- returned them all and got the SWCDC stone-washed silk ones instead. The stitching was uneven (like when the tension is off on the top thread of your machine) and there were small brown spots on them. I got a credit, no problem, but these scarves were much better quality a couple of years ago when I bought them.

The 11x60 is my shop's best seller. Takes colour well, drapes beautifully, feels silky, and the price is right. This one's a winner!
