These are 1/2 ounce squeeze bottles with a special metal tip that screws onto the top. The tip and bottle come as a set. Extra bottles can be purchased separately. The metal tips gives a very fine line. Comes in three sizes #5, #7, #9 (thin to thick). Useful for applying gutta, water based resists and medium to thick consistency paints or thickened dyes in a fine line.

Note: To fill the bottle, just pop out the plastic tip and then replace before use. (A funnel is helpful for filling!)

Bottles are easy to fill with gutta/resist and very squeezable, a soft plastic and gentle on the hand. I like the metal tip, it gives a nice smooth line and doesn't snag the silk.

Fine except, I need a way to clean the tops. Most paper clips are too big. Do you have a special suggestion? I've tried to steam, etc.

I used water based resist with this applicator bottle. I don't know why but the resist tends to run from it in the place where the top goes into the bottle. I was dissapointed with that.

I have bought these bottles from you 4 or 5 times in the past. This time the plastic tip that you screw the metal tip down on is too tall as you can see from picture. The metal tip used to fit down tight to bottle. These are much more awkward to use. I've tried cutting the tips down, but thats a pain also. I do not understand why the co. would change these as they do not work better, they are worse. Please let me add that I love your company, you're the best in every way!!! Keep up the good work. I keep a stick pin in the tip to keep it from plugging. Make sure the pin you use does not rust!

Water soluble gutta really spreads out as it dries, so I advise to use the smallest tip on any detail. I bought the medium tip and the line is about 1/8" wide on average after the water soluble gutta dries.

The latest gutta I received was MUCH better than the stuff I got last winter, which was called new and improved. (It was white in color and didn't wash out well at all. In fact I have four small bottles of it that I haven't used.) I'm glad you went back to the more clear solution which works so much better for me. Tips and applicator bottles are great.

I had a lot of trouble with the metal tips I tried. They would clog, pop off, etcetera. I eventually devised a method to work without them.
