Product Description

These are 1/2 ounce squeeze bottles with a special metal tip that screws onto the top. The tip and bottle come as a set. Extra bottles can be purchased separately. The metal tips gives a very fine line. Comes in three sizes #5, #7, #9 (thin to thick). Useful for applying gutta, water based resists and medium to thick consistency paints or thickened dyes in a fine line.

Note: To fill the bottle, just pop out the plastic tip and then replace before use. (A funnel is helpful for filling!)

Bottles are easy to fill with gutta/resist and very squeezable, a soft plastic and gentle on the hand. I like the metal tip, it gives a nice smooth line and doesn't snag the silk.

Fine except, I need a way to clean the tops. Most paper clips are too big. Do you have a special suggestion? I've tried to steam, etc.

These are the best!! Actually I need more and will get them next time I order.. They are also great to use with frisket when working on watercolor

These are nice. I like the metal tips, but sometimes they are hard to clean. I like the fact that the tips are removable, so you can clean them and use more than one color per tip.

size of bottle and tips were very small and and have used tips ones, although cleaned with water after use, can't use it again as Resistant stuck in tip :(

I bought it to use my Lumiere colors. It's not easy for me to fill the little bottle with the color I choose. So I think I'll buy the Lumieres that come in small bottles and put the metal tip right on the one I want to work with.

These are fun to use. I solved the "plugged -up- tip" issue by putting a skinny needle in the tip when not in use, I solved the problem of the needle slipping inside the tip by putting a little fold of tape on one end of the needle. So, the metal tips all have skinny little flag poles with tiny masking tape flags, so cute and ever so functional.

I used the Gutta Applicator Bottles With Metal Tips for an art lesson with middle school age children. They worked beautifully. The one caution I would make is after having students mix there water based resist in the bottles, the teacher should be the one to place the metal tips on for two reasons: 1. Students tend not to place the tips on correctly and end up spilling resist all over their artwork and 2. the tips come with a "cancer" warning, so students shouldn't be handling them.
