This is a good video set even though I rated it at a 3. The video(s) do show some neat folding techniques, but lacked the detail I assumed they would include. I was expecting much more of a "when a shirt is folded/tied like this, dye applied in 'this' pattern will have 'this' affect while dye applied in 'this' pattern to a shirt folded the same way will have 'this' affect. They showed how to fold a tapestry/textile for a mandela, but did not go through this folding process for a t-shirt...they just showed the folded shirt. I'll have to experiment to get the mandela fold right with t-shirts. There was absolutely too much repetition of safety points and basics ("set your project aside to react") even on the two discs with the advanced techniques.

I haven't viewed all of the CD set. So far I am finding the information helpful. FYI, I have been tie-dyeing for years (teaching others, tie-dye parties, etc.) and it is really helpful to know how others tackle some of the pertinent issues of mixing dyes, work surfaces, and tying objects to be dyed.
