Citric Acid is a weak organic acid found in citrus fruits. Designed for use with Acid dyes on silk or wool. Use 1 TBLS to one pound dry fiber for immersion dyeing. An alternative to vinegar or acetic acid 56%. Citric Acid has no odor.

I don't know why it took me so long to switch from using vinegar to using citric acid for my yarn dyeing, but I'm so glad I did. This stuff works like a charm and is easier and less expensive than white vinegar.

Using citric acid is so much cheaper than vinegar, and also eliminates that awful vinegar smell. It's easy to use, and works great!

Gone is the vinegar smell, and the colors are still true! It works great, and the 5lb bag I ordered will last me a long time.

Using Citric acid instead of vinegar makes my dyeing process virtually smell free! It's a great product and dissolves almost instantly.
