Use these for storing and applying liquid dyes. Perfect for tie-dye! Occasionally, since these are inexpensive and mechanically mass produced, some will come in that leak around the threads. Plumber's tape, that thin white stretch stuff that is .50 - .60 ¢ at any hardware store or other place with some irrigation supplies, is a quick easy fix - a couple of wraps around the threads works like a charm - no tie-dyer should be without it!
Bottles include 1 yorker spout w/ tiny red cap (tiny red caps are not available for separate purchase) but we can substitute 1 white screw-on cap instead by request.

I'm always trying to find the perfect bottles. These aren't perfect, but they're better than anything else I've found.
When mixing dye, I spoon the powder into a funnel and then pour the water thru it. This is actually cleaner than spooning directly into a wide-mouth bottle.

These bottles will leak if you squeeze them too hard--if that's a problem cut the spout to make it a little wider.

I've had problems with the leakage, too, so it's good to read the solutions. However, don't try to put the powder in the squeeze bottles. Just buy a set of pint canning jars, make the dye liquid in them, and pour what you need into the squeeze bottles. I have the canning jars labeled with the colors and store the dye in them when we're not actually tie-dying. Works great!

I like the 8oz. size (or smaller). The bigger ones (16oz. & up) are stiffer and harder for me to work with. They are made out of a different stiffer plastic material that I don't like.

only 1 in 12 leaked from the neck-good odds! Yorkie caps came stacked together and had some difficulty getting red tips unplugged from inside tips.

These are my favorite bottles to apply dye with. I recently tied with 25 Elementary kids and bought several of these to use. However, I wish you had a wide mouth bottle with a spout, to keep my concentrates in, but still be able to apply dye right out of the bottle.

They are AWESOME!!! They work perfect! I have a whole bunch of the 16 oz. bottles and a few of the 32 oz. I use them for tie dye events with kids and they work great. Some of the tips of the caps come out faster than others; I buy extra tops for this reason, in case I want the dyes to come out faster or slower.

These are nice bottles and if you really tighten them they won't leak. It's hard to get the dye powder in them. The funnel idea works well but it would be nice to have a long, skinny measuring spoon that would fig through the opening.

Good variety of size. Wish they had oz. measurements on the side. Smaller ones are easy to squeeze which is great, the bigger ones are harder to squeeze and my hand starts to cramp up. some leak, which is to be expected with this kind of thing.

consider replacing the tiny red cap with the kind on a tether (like the tops of my contact lens solution, for example). they get lost almost immediately, never to be seen again.

Had to really make the lids were on very tight or they would leak around the lids but they are very good sizes for the concentrated dyes and the smaller ones for mixing colors and solutions

I wish these bottles had measurements on them - to get consistent results I need to keep track of the quantity of dye I'm using and if they had measurements it would make it a lot easier. Otherwise pretty good, some leaks, but worth it for the variety in sizes.

I have the 16oz & find them great for diluting paints ( Dynaflow & setacolor), diluted dyes. Great way to store & transport your dyes or paints. I like to order the extra caps, just in case for transport.We use the large bottles in silk painting class, diluting & pouring the dyes is much easier than the original bottles.

Worked great! Easy to lose caps (my fault though for not having a "cap bowl" during my mass tie-dye session!).

Didn't realize that I could actually mix the dye in the bottles until a few colors into my mixing phase. Some powders were tough to get into the bottle though. I used 16 oz bottles. Awesome price thought! Can't beat a buck each!

easy to squeeze, easy to clean, great price. Only neg is mouth is a little small for my tastes. I do shave cream marbling, and it's a bit difficult to pour the dye.

The bottles are fine, but the spouts are awful. They leak terribly. We like the caps well enough, and have moved to using the caps for storage, and a spout only when actually dyeing.

We had a tie dye party at our church. 63 women showed up! We purchased 20 bottles and all of them leaked BADLY!We rapped rubber bands under the caps of the bottles,that seemed to helped some.

Without plumbers tape these bottles and caps make such a mess it will take days to remove the dye from any skin it comes in contact with. I think plumbers tape should be included or recommended when someone is purchasing this item.

I have the 16oz and the 8oz bottles. The smaller ones have been leaking like crazy, but the big version seems fine. I was going to use the 8oz with the little kids, but no way! the mess is nuts when they leak.

Perfect- I used the 16oz bottles with a group of children- Perfect size. The kids had an easy time holding onto the bottle and I was happy there was left over dye for me to use!

The squeeze bottles were great. None of the dye clogged the ends and the bright red caps made finding them at the end of the event easy so we could recap the dye.

When I squeeze the bottles, the dye squirts out around the cap as fast as the hole so it is very messy. They all do it, the caps do not fit properly.

Great bottles for liquid and some dry dye powders. Easy snip tips give you the size opening you need/want. Soft squeezable plastic sides.

Since these bottles were made for paint, I was very disappointed that the lids leak. I called Dharma and was told to put some tape on the threads before putting the lids on. They still leaked. They aren't very useful this way.

Great all-around equipment. Easy to lose the caps. Best to use a syringe for the middle of spirals as these put out too much dye.

These bottles worked well to mix up a concentrate of the dye, but were not "squeezy" enough for the kids to use on the shirts. I mixed the concentrated dye once and then kept refilling my smaller bottles. So they were very helpful in that regard.

Some of the spouts had very tiny holes that when you squeezed the bottle, it caused dye to leak from the seal between the cap and the bottle. I will check each cap in the future and make the hole is big enough.

I wish the opening on these bottles was a bit bigger. I use them for making dyes and the powder makes a mess in the narrow opening...otherwise excellent for squirting dye on my projects
