Too strong and hard to control. Better results with heavy Kosher salt, available at any supermarket.

I like to use a heavier salt. The Silk Salt leaves dark dots on some of the silks that I use. Maybe it works better on some silks than others.

Would be nice if it could be bought cheaper in bulk. I go through about 8 jars a year, which is 5 lbs.

Perhaps I am too inexperienced. I sprinkled it on after handpainting on a flat surface. Although the silk was soaked I got tiny star-looking bursts that made it look like something was wrong with my technique. Not at all what I had hoped for!

Used this product when I first started using silk paints. Buying sea salt in bulk locally works better.
