Back in January 2010 the owner went to a congress, met up with old friends, saw some sights; you know the deal. Well, the organization putting on the congress provided attendees with a 'welcome' package which included a nice messenger style bag. It had a pocket for a cell phone, three pen pockets, pockets for business cards or credit cards, as well as a roomy main cabin that sleeps anything from a laptop to several large books.
The owner and the rest of us here thought it such a nice bag we had a version made for us in strong cotton canvas, sewn with cotton thread for solid dyeing. Without further ado, we give you ... the Congress Bag!
100% strong durable cotton canvas, sewn with cotton thread so they can be dyed. Also a fantastic canvas for transfers, silk screening, fabric painting and other embellishment.
**Keep in mind that even though very strong, canvas is a large thread fabric, so can fray easily. Canvas also shrinks a lot in hot washer/dryer. Therefore all canvas products should be washed delicately and line dried if you want less shrink.
