Product Description
Jersey is a knitted very slightly stretchy fabric with a smooth flat face and a more textured but uniform back. It is what basic t-shirts are made of. This one is a nice weight, with a very usable width of 60".
Fabric Details
• 100% cotton, Optically Whitened Carded Cotton
• 6oz per square yard, 9.5 oz per linear yd, 60" wide
• You can dye this with our Fiber Reactive Dyes
• Suggested usage; custom made over sized tops and tees, costuming, theater draperies, sportswear, skirts and dresses fabric sculpture (fabric wrapped and pulled over infrastructure, then painted with gesso) etc.
• We found that this shrinks 7% in Length and 2% in Width disclaimer
• Available in cut yardage (bulk discounts levels at 10+ yds.) and in 30 yard bolts
• Machine wash in any temperature water
• This fabric is PFD

Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

very comfortable stretch to the fabric takes dyes great but needs to be washed a few times to get a softer jersey feel. straight out of the bag its a little scratchy easily remedied however.

Came out of initial wash nice and soft like thick tee-shirt fabric. I think it will be opaque enough for yoga pants once it's dyed. This will be fun to dye and paint

HAVE PURCHASED THIS TYPE OF FABRIC FOR YRS. THE ONE YOU SELL IS A VERY GOOD QUALITY NOT SOAKED IN STARCHES SO IT SHRINKS TOO MUCH & THE FINISHED FABRIC ENDS UP WITH A NICE CLOSE WEAVE OF GOOD QUALITY.

Not bad cotton single knit - somewhat coarse better after washing - takes the dye fine - did shrink up after the initial wash maybe a couple of inches per yard so wash before cutting. Wish Dharma would also carry a combed single cotton knit.

I was having a hard time finding cotton jersey all the fabric was either too thin or was a poly blend. A friend had told me about Dharma Trading so I gave them a try ordering 4 yards to make an Alabama Chanin skirt. This fabric felt great and took the dye very nicely. I will recommend this fabric to friends

Don't care for the blue tint of the fabric that is supposed to be white.

This stuff dyes beautifully and sews up into shirts and tops that last and last and last. It's not like most of the cotton jersey you buy these days.

Really like this jersey. It has a very cottony feel to it in that it's quite stiff rather than soft and drapey which I like in many applications.

A good value but not exceptional. It is nice and thick. It's not super soft but I didn't expect that and anyway Milsoft can address this. Has a notable bluish cast unlike any other PFD fabric I've ordered from Dharma. Maybe processed using a different and very cool-tone whitener? My piece was cut substantially off grain so I ended up losing about a foot after I realigned. Had I just lined up the cut edges as received my pieces would have twisted and hung poorly.

Exactly as described. Dyes nicely. The best part of ordering from Dharma Trading is the fast service.
