Very popular, beautiful fabric in scarves, kind of a cross in weave between Habotai and Crepe de Chine. Confusing name, because Crepe de Chine is not shiny. But here the "crepe weave" is flattened on the surface so that this is actually shinier than Habotai, with more visual texture than Satin, if that makes sense. Real smooth surface for painting and resist work. Semi-sheer, less so when dyed. Great for making blouses and other lighter weight garments.
Fabric Details
• 100% Flat Crepe Silk
• 8mm, 45" wide
• You can dye this with Acid Dyes or our new Colorhue Instant-set silk dyes.
• We found that this shrinks 6% in Length and 3% in Width

• Machine wash in any temperature water
Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.
