Finally! I have been looking all over the internet for cloth like this.
I'm trying to make my own swaddling blankets and washclothes and bibs similar to the "XXXX" brand products. It took me ages to find an appropriate fabric, but this is definitely it!
Nice and cool and breathable for the baby, soft for her bathtime and absorbant for her bibs. I'm very pleased.

Love this fabric. Great for baby blankets! I have made many for my grandbabies, and many more for gifts.

I purchased this fabric to replicate a popular "X&X Blanket" on the market. This material is soooo soft, and such a perfect match for this application. I made 4 blankets and used them daily for almost 7 months (when my daughter decided she didnt want to be swaddled any longer!)
They got softer with each wash (and there were MANY a wash) and held up well. I will be using the same blankets for the next baby...but may have to order more so I can dye some up and give as gifts!

Again, I was very satisfied with the dyeing results using the cotton bubble gauze fabric. Now I'm off to do some Nuno felting with the gauze as the base fabric.

I was looking for a very light weight 100% cotton gauze fabric to make baby swaddling blankets with and the Cotton Bubble Gauze was exactly what I wanted! I bought ten yards and made eight great blankets. The three new mothers who were the recipients of the blankets are thrilled with them!

This fabric is great! Takes dyes like a champ and while it seems very lightweight, it is pretty tough. I use it to make swaddling blankets, and we've had one at the daycare where I work for over a year. After the repeated washings and continuous use it still looks great. I finish the edges with a serger and haven't attempted to use the sewing machine. I imagine the only downside would be working with it on a sewing machine since it is so lightweight and stretchy.

I ordered the bubble gauze for making some swaddling blankets for my coming grandchild and I was very, very pleased with the quality. The gauze is very soft, I hemmed two sides and left the selvedge edges as they were then I threw them in the washer and dryer and they came out even softer. This gauze is far superior to the gauze in the regular fabric stores and I would love to purchase a whole bolt of it and layer several layers for a blanket! Oh, and the shipping was fast.

Used this fabric to make Nuno felted scarves. It worked great. It is a good weight and weave for Nuno felting.

I was looking for gauze to make a-and-a type bibs and swaddling blankets, and ordered a few yards of this. Unfortunately, it is not the same -- this is a very thin single layer gauze rather than the "double gauze" I was looking for. However, it's softer than the double cotton gauze on a-and-a products, so you may be able to make something similar. The gauze, while soft, otherwise feels really thin and I worry about snagging. It's also a bit difficult to manage because it scrunches up after washing/drying, so I had to iron it out a little before sewing. It stretches in a hard to control way. I can see this fabric being appropriate for loose summer tunics if sewn in 2-3 layers so it isn't completely see-thru.

Nice fabric. It wasn't exactly what I thought I'd be getting, but it was high quality.
