What Do I Need?

For any devore project, you'll need:

What Do I Need Buy?

To start you need Fiber Etch and a brush to apply it on fabric. The fabric needs to be made from 2 types of fibers so the fiber etch can burn out one type of fiber we suggest the Silk/Rayon combination.





Required Products
There are some thing you MUST have to make things work out correctly. Listed here are items that you must have in order to be successful (and therefore happy) with your project. Make sure you have them when you're ready to start!

Fiber Etch dissolves plant fibers like cotton and rayon and linen.




Recommended Products
Sometimes the right tool makes a crafting project much easier. Try some of these suggested items to enrich your experience!
IMG:FOAM BRUSHES Foam Brushes
Great for covering large areas with dyes or thin paint. Can be used to apply dye to tie-dye too.
IMG:FLAT BRUSHES Flat Brushes
Natural bristle, all purpose brushes for use with thickened dye, fabric paints, silk dyes, wax, afterfix, etc.
Stainless Steel Pushpins Stainless Steel Pushpins
Great for stretching silk and other fabrics, and don't stain the fabric when wet.

For tie-dye order them all sewn up. For silk painting, order them with open side seams for easy stretching and painting.
